Sheridan Mayor Roger Miller, as a guest on our News Talk show Public Pulse Thursday, discussed a number of topics, including why he lobbied for a regular monthly Council study session, and his take on the draft mayoral/council handbook. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

When Roger Miller became Mayor of Sheridan in January of 2017, one of the first things he worked on implementing was a means for the Council to have a better understanding of upcoming agenda items. Miller said that’s why the Council holds a regular study session on the second Monday of the month, in between the regularly scheduled Council meetings.

Earlier this week at their monthly study session, the Mayor and Council were presented with the draft mayoral/council handbook. Miller said that he’d like to see more clarification of roles in the handbook.

The handbook will most likely be presented to the Council once again at their October study session.
