Saturday, Sheridanites had the chance to safely get rid of the prescription drugs they didn't want or need. It was the semi-annual national Drug Take-Back Day.
One more front on the war against drugs, the Sheridan Police Department was set up in the Walgreen's parking lot to collect the unwanted meds. Steve Johnson, Evidence Technician with the police department.
By mid morning 65-70 pounds of the meds were turned in which will then be promptly incinerated.
Couldn't make it Saturday. There's a drop box in the lobby of the Sheridan Police Department.
