New Ticket Purchase Location Added

Another location has been added where people can buy tickets for the Grand Home Tour later this month.

As Sheridan Media reported earlier, three Sheridan houses designed by architect Glenn Charles McAlister, who also designed the old Sheridan County Courthouse, will be featured in a tour on Oct. 21.

Tickets are $15 and, in addition to the Trail End State Historic Site, may also be purchased at the Old General Store at 249 N. Main St.

The tour will be from 1 till 4 p.m., and the homes are Mount View, also called the Brooks-Yonkee House, the Robinson-Smith House and the Kendrick Mansion at the Trail End State Historic Site. The tour is hosted by the Trail End State Historic Site in conjunction with the Trail End Guilds Inc. and is a fundraiser for the Guilds, which is the friends group that helps support Kendrick Mansion.
