Dr. Laurie S. Nichols, the 26th President of the University of Wyoming, will make a stop in Buffalo this coming Monday to meet with local residents from 7:15 to 9 in the morning at the Cowboy Carousel Center's Steamboat and Comanche Room.

According to a release from the university, Dr. Nichols, who took the position in May of 2016, has traveled the state talking with citizens, community college and public school leaders, legislators, alumni, media and others to “hear their thoughts and expectations” for the university.
She said, “This is a crucial time for the state and UW, and input from the public is important to make sure the university fulfills its land-grant mission of education, research and service to the entire state.”

The UW Alumni Association invites all UW alumni and friends to the reception, which is free for all to attend.
There will be complimentary coffee, juice and donuts available at the free public event.
