NX Bar Takes Second Straight Bed Race Title

Mattresses on raised frames with four bike wheels, and one three-wheeled bed made up the traditional scene for the bed races down Main Street right before the parade took off Friday morning. NX Bar took the race by about three seconds over Bob's Super Clean for the second straight year. Expert pusher of beds on bike wheels, Cheston Feaster, recapped the win.

Four heats narrowed down competitors to the final between Bob's Super Clean and NX Bar, who finished with a score of 36.71 seconds, to beat Bob's Super Clean's time of 39.33.

NX Bar included Feaster, Kody Williams, Zach DeWitt, Devin Reily and two girls riding on the bed, Peyton Tyree and Maddie Kobold.

The event was organized by Sheridan Media.
