Policy Advisor, Constituent Services Administrator Added to Governor’s Team

Two more staff members have joined Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon’s team according to a recent news release from his office. The first, Joe Budd, will serve as Policy Advisor with a focus on natural resources while Darlena Schlachter-Potter will oversee Constituent Services as Administrator. The former grew up in Lander and furthered his education at Casper College and the University of Wyoming. Prior to joining the Gordon Administration, Budd spent 5 years at the Wyoming Department of Agriculture as a Senior Policy Analyst covering multiple agriculture and natural resource topics throughout the state and beyond.

Schlachter-Potter is also a Wyoming native and had previously served as a Federal Programs Manager for the Wyoming Department of Education. She also held positions with the Wyoming Departments of Health, Corrections and Transportation. Her schooling came from UW as well as Grand Canyon University.
