Some students at Sheridan College started their spring break with--you probably guessed--another lecture.
Members from the community joined them for a public discussion called "American Foreign Policy in the Obama Age" at at Sheridan College this weekend. It was led by a panel of policy experts, which included several researchers from Berlin, as well as UW International Studies Director, Jean Garrison
The purpose of these lectures, Jean says, is to increase interest in Wyoming's international studies classes and programs at the seven community colleges, as well as at UW. Increasing public debate and awareness is another reason for these lectures
Sheridan College will soon be the first community college in the state to add Chinese as a foreign language. These classes are funded as part of this grant initiative.
