Rabies Clinic Sees Almost 500 Animals

The Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter’s annual Rabies Clinic vaccinated just shy of 500 animals earlier this month in Sheridan’s Kendrick Park. Shelter Director Jill Moriarty said that those in the community that haven’t gotten their pets up to date on rabies vaccinations, should do so as soon as possible.

Moriarty said that there is no cure for rabies and the only way to test an animal for rabies is to euthanize them and test their brain for the disease. For more information contact your veterinarian.
