Ranchester Resident Sentenced for Drug Charge

Last September, Austin Diirell was arrested in Sheridan County and charged with Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance.

Diirell was transporting marijuana from the state of Washington to Sheridan, where he was selling the drug within the community. Thursday, Diirell was sentenced in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan to 2 to 5 years in prison, suspended, in lieu of 3 years of supervised probation. District Court Judge John Fenn also ordered Diirell to pay $435 in various fines, court, and attorney feels.
