Sheridan resident Robert Webster has announced his candidacy for the position of mayor of Sheridan. Webster, who’s been on the City Planning Commission for the past three and a half years, feels he’s got the qualities needed for the position.

Webster said there are three core pillars that make up his election platform and administration philosophy.

Aside from currently serving as Vice-Chair of the City’s Planning Commission, Webster is also Chair of the Fire Civil Service Commission and a member of the State Historical Record and Archive Board serving for the last three and a half years with each board and commission. Additionally, he has served the community recently as the Boy Scouts of America District Chairman.
