Trustees from the Northern Wyoming Community College District and Sheridan County School District #2 held their annual joint dinner meeting Monday night at the college. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the story.

Trustees from the two boards discussed a wide array of topics that included dual and concurrent enrollment, student enrollment trends, and the upcoming legislative session. District Two Superintendent Craig Dougherty said that everyone needs to be prepared for less money from the state, as lawmakers are tasked with developing a balanced budget for the biennium, amidst declining revenues from the energy industry.

The joint dinner meeting was an information sharing session, as no action was taken by either board.
