U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming spoke before his colleagues on the Senate floor Wednesday in regard to the Environmental Protection Agency taking formal steps to repeal the Obama administration's Clean Power Plan rule.

Barrasso said that over the eight years of the Obama administration, the leaders of the EPA created broad and legally questionable new regulations. He said they declared war on coal, and a war on American energy, but under the Trump administration, that war is over and American is back on track.
