Sheridan Fire-Rescue to Host 9/11 Remembrance Service

A 9/11 remembrance service will once again take place this year at the fire department in Sheridan. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.


On Monday, September 11, at 7:50 am, the Sheridan Fire-Rescue Department will be hosting a remembrance service for those that were lost in the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Fire Chief Terry Lenhart.

Lenhart said that they invite all local law enforcement, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and the public to attend the remembrance.

A total of 2,977 people that ranged between the ages of two and 85, were killed during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
