The Sheridan WYO Rodeo once again set an attendance record this year with 26,508 tickets sold, which was significantly more than the number of tickets sold last year. WYO Rodeo Board President Nick Siddle said this year’s rodeo was a tremendous success.

Siddle said attendance has grown consistently over the last seven years since they added a fourth performance to the week on Wednesday nights. He said due to that growth, the WYO Board increased capacity by 640 seats this year building a 500-seat north end section, and increasing the Gold Buckle Club area by 140 seats.

Siddle said that up next is the inaugural Cowboy State Elite Rodeo, which is part of the Elite Rodeo Athletes, League of Rodeo Champions.
