Areas of Sheridan and Johnson Counties could receive a significant amount of snowfall this weekend.
Meteorologist Nick Vertz with the National Weather Service in Billings says that a cold Thanksgiving will give way to snow early Friday, which could impact those traveling after the holiday.
Vertz said that there is a system that's expected to move through the southern part of Wyoming later this week as well that will have an impact on post holiday travel on I-25.
