St. Francis Shelter Offering Vaccination Clinic And BBQ

Coming up on Saturday the St. Francis Animal Shelter in Buffalo will offer a low-cost vaccination clinic, in conjunction with their annual summer barbecue fundraiser, and welcome a special guest for animal lovers to meet and greet.

The vaccination clinic will be from 10 in the morning until 1 that afternoon, and will offer low-cost rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines for both cats and dogs.
Those wishing can microchip their pets and/or purchase a city license and tag.

The shelter is having their summer barbecue fundraiser from 11 to 1.
Enjoy a lunch of hotdogs, brats, chips, beans and a beverage for just $5.

Also scheduled during the clinic is a visit by Gayle M. Irwin , a Casper, Wyoming author, freelance writer, and speaker.
According to information provided by the shelter, Irwin has written
inspirational pet books for children and adults, and contributes freelance articles to several regional newspapers and magazines.
She donates a percentage of proceeds from her book sales to local and regional animal rescues and shelters.
Irwin regularly speaks in schools, libraries, and for civic and faith-based organizations.
