Study Reveals Greatest Halloween Danger for Kids

Halloween is fun, but it is a holiday that often warrants extra safety precautions. While Sheridan's ghosts, zombies and warrior princesses have been briefed about stranger danger and the ill effects of too much candy, Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association president Rob Shively says adults need to do their part as well.

According to an analysis from State Farm Insurance, the biggest safety hazard for kids on Halloween is being hit by a car. The study showed the most dangerous time of the day is between 6 and 7 p.m., and collisions are more likely to happen in the middle of a block, as opposed to an intersection.
