Top Brass Performance Comes with French Twist

Playful, French music will be part of Friday night’s concert presented by The Billings Symphony’s Top Brass.

Making up the group will be three horns – trumpet, trombone and French, accompanied by piano.

During a live interview that aired this week on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse show, the trumpet player, Mark Fenderson, said they’ll each be featured, then come together as a trio. And though it wasn’t pre-planned, all the songs, but one, were written in France.

Tickets for the concert are available at the door for $10, half that for students and $8 for military and seniors. Showtime is 7 o’clock. The concert will be presented at the First Baptist Church on Big Horn Avenue in Sheridan.
