The Bighorn National Forest has issued a media release that states that the Twin Buttes Fire is expected to be contained soon, perhaps sometime later today. The fire is burning north of Burgess Junction and has consumed about five acres of lodgepole pine. A single engine air tanker, two helicopters and four engines battled the blaze Wednesday. A 14-person hand crew is currently on scene. The cause of the Twin Buttes Fire remains under investigation, however; it is believed to be human caused.
