UW Receives $3.2 million In Energy Research Grants

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The University of Wyoming's School of Energy Resources has received $3.2 million in new solar energy research grants. One of the grants is $2.4 million from the U.S. Department of Energy. The other is $750,000 from NASA.

Professor Wenyong Wang of the UW Department of Physics and Astronomy is leading the research. It will bring together scientists from several departments to develop and test better ways to convert sunlight into electricity and fuels.
