UW Strategic Planning Process Underway

Posted in

The University of Wyoming began a process in September to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to guide the university for the next five years.

UW Public Relations Officer Chad Baldwin says that while much of the focus recently has been on budget cuts, University President Laurie Nichols has also had an eye on the future.

While the exact dates and times have not yet been set, Baldwin said the university will be conducting a series of statewide meetings in November to solicit input from stakeholders, alumni and others on the strategic plan.

The timeline calls for the University Board of Trustees to review and approve the final plan document in May. To hear the interview with Baldwin in its entirety, click on the link below.
