The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees voted unanimously in favor of “Breaking Through 2017-2022: A Strategic Plan for the University of Wyoming” during their July meeting. UW Director of Institutional Communications Chad Baldwin explains what the plan entails.

Each of the goals and objectives in the plan has a set of measurable performance indicators included to make sure that there is a way to track the plan’s effectiveness.

Some of the performance indicators include overall enrollment growing from 12,366 at present to 13,500 in 2022 and the freshman to sophomore retention rate to rise from 76% to 80%. The plan was created over a 9 month process that involved statewide meetings, public input, and several revisions.
