Veterans Honored At Ceremony Friday In Buffalo

Governor Matt Mead speaks to the Veterans Home Of Wyoming in Buffalo Friday.

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead and many other dignitaries gave short presentations honoring veterans, their service and their sacrifices at three ceremonies held throughout the state on Friday.

The day started in Torrington, Buffalo was the second stop and the final ceremony was in Jackson that afternoon.

Speaking at the ceremonies were the Governor: Major General Luke Reiner, Adjutant General of Wyoming; and Veterans Commission Vice Chair Lee Alley. Also speaking in Buffalo was State Senator John Schiffer.

Governor Mead spoke about the annual Wyoming Veterans Welcome Home Day and how proud he was to sign the legislation
into law.

Governor Mead also spoke about why it is important to remember veterans and all they have done for this country.

The ceremonies in Buffalo were staged at the Veteran's Home Of Wyoming.
