One of the questions posed to Jule Walker was about her leadership abilities.

Walker responded.

Walker met Tuesday night with parents and others at the Tongue River and Big Horn High Schools to field questions from parents and others in Sheridan County School District 1. Questions were written earlier, and posed to Walker by Pete Kilbride, principal of Tongue River Middle School. Kilbride elaborated.

Meetings at the high schools were open to the public, and those in the audience received a list of criteria on which to evaluate Walker.

Walker is one of three candidates who have been selected from among applicants to replace Marty Kobza as School District 1 superintendent. The other two applicants, Tony O'Brien and Ryan Kramer, will be presented to community members Wednesday night and on April 11, respectively.

Kilbride said the programs for them will follow the same format as Walker's. O'Brien and Kramer are scheduled to meet with District 1 trustees in executive sessions following their public presentations. Walker met with trustees in an executive session Tuesday morning.
