At a media conference Tuesday, Wyoming Governor Matt Mead announced that Gestamp Renewables and the Worthington Energy Group, a subsidiary of Worthington Industries, Inc., will be building a wind tower manufacturing facility Wyoming. Governor Mead explains the joint venture between the Worthington Energy Group and Gestamp Renewables will have a profound effect on the State's economy.
Mead describes some of the factors that attracted the companies to Wyoming.
The $40 million manufacturing facility will be built in Cheyenne with plans to begin production by early 2012.
