Worlds Of Music Events Culminate With Dance Tonight

This week, Buffalo's Worlds Of Music organization brought Manmay La Kay, a band from the island of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, to Buffalo to perform and participate in community music workshops.

Earlier this week there was a Main Street Stroll at downtown establishments, and a performance and meet and greet with the musicians at the Buffalo Senior Center.

The three days of events will close today with a workshop this morning and a public dance tonight.

There will be a workshop from 10:30 to 12:30 at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center located at 63 N. Burritt, and tonight from 8 to 11pm at the American Legion Hall at 18 Veterans Avenue there will be a public dance with Manmay La Kay headlining with the Pan Buffalo Steel Drum Group opening the evening.

The workshop and dance are free and open to the public to attend.

Worlds of Music is a not-for-profit organization devoted to music in community. Manmay La Kay’s visit to Wyoming is supported by grants from the Johnson County Recreation District and the Johnson County Tourism Association, with additional financial support from private donors.
