Private family services for Glen Frost, 75 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Thursday, September 8th at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held at a later date by his family. Donations in Mr. Frost’s name may be made to Life Line or the Amie Holt Care Center in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Glen Allen Frost was born May 2, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii to James G. and Francis Frost. He spent much of his childhood traveling, as his father was a naval officer. In Jr High the family moved to San Diego where they settled with grandparents and extended family. There he found his love for gems, minerals and all rocks. He was very involved with the San Diego Gem & Mineral Society. He learned from them and went on to teach many classes.

After graduating from high school he joined the Navy where he served 2 years on a submarine. He then attended San Diego State University. He was married on November 28, 1986 to Sally Leonard in San Diego where they made their home. He became a jeweler and worked in that field until his Parkinson’s would no longer allow him to work. In 1998 he moved to Buffalo to be near his wife Sally’s family. He called Buffalo “Paradise”. He loved the peace and quiet of the mountains and the people. He continued living in Buffalo until his death.

He is survived by his wife Sally Frost of Buffalo; one daughter Lisa Frost Danley of Rogers, Arkansas; one son Jesse Frost also of Rogers, Arkansas; one step-daughter Sheri Olver of Buffalo, Wyoming; one step-son Spencer Leonard and his wife Anissa of Laramie, Wyoming; one step-brother Forest “Buddy” Kashan; seven grandchildren: Jr, Kyle, Alyssa, Holly, Zane, Matt, Kate; his special friend Frank Hines of Las Vegas, Nevada; several cousins; many friends in California and his faithful therapy dog Jasper. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother Juanita.
