Ronald Leroy Stewart

Ronald Leroy Stewart, 71, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Ronald was born on December 31st 1941 and raised in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He met and married Catherine Curl in 1963 and had three children, Todd Stewart, Tim Stewart and Yvonne Stewart- Perry. He later divorced and lived by himself in Sheridan. Before moving to Wyoming he was a police officer for the town of Blackwell. He then moved to Wyoming in 1970 and worked for Lucky Mac Mine and Exxon Mine for over 10 years. He later owned his own business and managed various retail stores.

Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, crossword puzzles and spending time outdoors. He was an avid fan of his grandkids watching them play at their various sporting activities, and loved spending time with them.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. He is survived by his three kids, Todd (Lori) Stewart, Tim Stewart and Yvonne (Troy) Perry, all of Sheridan, and 10 grandkids; Alicia Stewart, Kassandra Stewart and Sheanna Marsh. Levi Stewart, Nathan Romero, Hartley Stewart, Chancellor Perry, Kaytlin Stewart, Kelsey Tetschner and Cody LeFluer. Sisters Barbara Sheets, Joann Pennington, and a brother Robert Stewart.

A Visitation for Ron will be held from 6-8 p.m on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Kane Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Lee officiating. A reception will follow in the Kane Reception Hall.
