1936-2015.

Samuel S. Street has passed away. He is survived by his wife Connie and daughters Karen of Australia and Vicki of New York City. Mr. Street, a well known artist in Sheridan, Wyoming will be remembered as " The Painter of Main Street" for his colorful paintings of downtown Sheridan.

Mr. Street was a graduate of The Philadelphia College of Art in 1958 and has exhibited his work throughout the country.
His business career included many leadership roles in the Cable TV Industry, including Viacom Corporation, United Cable TV and many independent cable companies. He helped in the formation of the movie service "Showtime"and the "Lifetime" Channel.

He worked in India to establish cable TV service in the New Delhi area and also Taiwan, China. He was a co-founder of the Cable TV Pioneer Club.

In Sheridan, Mr. Street served on the board of Whitney Benefits.

Mr. Street passed away with his family by his side after a struggle with ALS. Cremation has taken place with a private remembrance .
