2017 Poinsettia Bowl Kicks Off Wednesday Night / Bronc Wrestlers Home Thursday Night / Cowboy Hoops v DePaul Thursday

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will get back into action Thursday after missing a big tournament this past weekend but senior Hayden Hastings competed at the Reno tournament of champions and finished as the runner up in his division Broncs Head coach Tyson Shatto says it's been a great start to the season for Hastings.

And since the team missed an opportunity to compete last weekend at least they get another shot in the home dual with Buffalo Thursday.Varsity matches are scheduled to get underway at 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball games with Billings Skyview that were canceled Friday will not be made up. To make up for those two games they will play non conference games with Natrona county January 14th varsity games will be played at 2:00.

Both teams are scheduled to play in the Energy classic tournament over in Gillette starting Wednesday December 28th.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams will resume the season January 6th and 7th at a tournament in Goshen county.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers are off until January 6th and 7th when they host two events.

TRACK AND FIELD - The 2017 indoor track and field season at Sheridan high school begins Monday, January 2nd with the first day of practice. The first meet of 2017 will be January 14th in Spearfish, South Dakota.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals will ease back into action in January the Lady Generals will play a game with an all-star team at the Hoffman dome Saturday January 7th at 2:00 the Generals will play an all-star team Friday night January 6th at 6:00.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys beat Troy University 72-66 last night next up for the Cowboys a game against DePaul University Thursday night in Las Vegas pregame will be at 6:00 tip off at 6:30 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys take on BYU in the Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego tomorrow night we will have the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM pregame starts at 6:00 with kickoff at 7:00.

Head coach Craig Bohl talked about his contract extension at a news conference and says it was important for him and the University to get the deal done before this season ended.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play a road game Christmas night game at Kansas City kickoff will be at 6:30 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.
