All four Sheridan county football teams pick up road victories / Pokes fall to 0-2 / Broncos edge Ravens

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team is 3-0 after taking care of Evanston 49-21, the Broncs had a sluggish first half but got rolling in the second half to pull away, after the victory Head coach Don Julian.

Now the Broncs come home for two straight beginning Friday with unbeaten Cheyenne East and will follow that hosting Rock Springs. Kickoff Friday night is set for 6:00

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams made the long road swing down I-80 last week and came out with a 26-8 win at Lyman, with the wrap-up here's Sheridan Media's Shane Parker.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles beat Moorcroft on the road 26-16 to go to 2-0 the Eagles host Upton-Sundance Friday night at 7:00.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - NSI picked up an win in their opening game with a 68-21 victory at Rock River.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys have lost two straight to start the season getting beat 48-29 Saturday against Eastern Michigan. The Pokes go out on the road this week to play at Washington state broadcast time Saturday night is at 5:30.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos defense cam up big Sunday in a 19-13 win over Baltimore. the Broncos play at Kansas City Thursday night.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers beat Laramie in a dual Friday and finished 3rd at the South invitational Saturday. Tomorrow the Lady Broncs have a dual at Buffalo and will host Gillette Friday.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams were on the road for three days last week the Lady Broncs took three out of four duals on the weekend, the Broncs went 1-3 and salvaged the weekend beating Laramie Saturday.

This weekend they play at home starting with Powell Friday afternoon.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team swept Cheyenne South and Laramie to open conference play 2-0. They play at Cheyenne East and Central this weekend.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles went 1-2 in bracket play at the Big Horn invitational Saturday the Lady Rams went 2-1 taking 5th in their bracket.

CROSS COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams hosted the Michelle Ludwig invitational the Lady Broncs finished 2nd overall top finisher was Xiomara Robinson in 5th place,

The Broncs were 6th, Jared McCafferty led the Broncs finishing 4th.

This week they run Saturday at an invitational in Fort Collins, Colorado.
