Bison Clip Green River in OT

The Buffalo Bison football team traveled to Green River Friday to take on the top-ranked Green River Wolves and came away with a 17-14 win in overtime.
Buffalo, outscored 14-0 in the first half, came roaring back in the second half to tie the game and send it into overtime.
Green River had the ball first in overtime, but Buffalo held the Wolves on three downs before blocking their field goal attemp on fourth down.
The Bison then kicked the winning field goal on first down to escape with a 17-14 overtime win.
The Bison racked up 286 yards in totsl offense, rushing for 222 yards and passing for 64 yards.
Defensively, the Bison were led by Jarod Chesbro with 21 defensive points and Aaron Fenner with 20 defensive points, including the blocked field goal in overtime to give the Bison the win.
Buffalo will host Douglas on Friday.
The Lady Bison volleyball team was also in action this weekend, suffering a few setbacks.
The girls lost to Big Horn 3 games to none on Thursday, and went down to Douglas 3 to1 Friday and Wheatland 3-1 Saturday.
The girls will host Powell on Tuesday, travel to Glenrock Thursday and travel to Newcastle on Saturday.
The Bison golf team was at the conference meet in Wheatland this weekend and the cross country team was at the Douglas Invite. We will have results for them later this week.
The Kaycee Buckaroos beat Hulett 38-27 in six-man football this weekend, Midwest beat Hanna 54-13 and the Kaycee volleyball team took first place at the Dogger Invite.
