Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer at Buffalo / Track and Field at Cody / Cowboy Basketball Opens the CBI Final series Monday Night

SHS SOCCER / TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams will play in Buffalo tonight and the Sheridan high school track teams will compete at an invitational in Cody tomorrow.

TROOPERS / JETS BASEBALL - Sheridan American Legion baseball will held it's annual player / parent meeting last night the Troopers will hold their first outdoor practice at Thorne-Rider stadium April 3rd

The Troopers open the season April 15th with a double header in Billings the home opener is scheduled for May 7th.

The Jets will open their season at home April 22nd with a double header against the Billings Angels.

Mike McCafferty is the American Legion baseball General Manager, last spring they started an improvement program for Thorne-Rider stadium and that work continues this spring.

A new left field wall was added last year and this year that will be extended into center field this week they have been making improvements to the grandstand that work will continue right up until the home opener in May.

McCafferty says 2016 was a great season for the Troopers and the Jets and they want to make 2017 even better.

And he says a lot of people are working behind the scenes to make the stadium a great getaway for fans and the players and coaches.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys will play Coastal Carolina for the College Basketball Invitational championship they will meet in a best of three championship series that will start in South Carolina Monday night the Cowboys will host game two next week on Wednesday and an if necessary game would be played Friday March 31st.
