Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer get mixed Weekend Results / SHS Track and Field Host a Dual with Gillette Tuesday / Rockies fall against the Dodgers

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams played Cheyenne Central and East in conference action over the weekend the Lady Broncs lost at Central 3-0 Friday and dropped the game at East Saturday 6-0.

The Broncs lost 3-2 against Central and played a 1-1 overtime tie with East Saturday.

It's Gillette week for the soccer teams tomorrow both JV teams play in Gillette and Thursday night the Bronc and Lady Bronc varsity will host games with Gillette the girls match will start at 4:00 and the boys go at 6:00.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams competed at an invitational in Spearfish, South Dakota and Tongue River high school hosted their own invite full results from both events can be seen on the sports page below.

Tomorrow the Broncs and Lady Broncs will host a dual meet with Gillette events are scheduled to get underway at 4:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open their baseball season Saturday playing a double header at the Billings Halos. The Troops home opener is set for Sunday May 7th against Rapid City Post #22.

SRD BASEBALL - The Sheridan Recreation District is currently taking registration for Webb Wright baseball the deadline to register is April 28th. Registration will be taken at the Rec office in Thorne-Rider park or it can be done on-line at

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboy Joe club will host their annual spring membership drive function in Sheridan Thursday April 22nd. The event will be held at Black Tooth Brewing Company among those attending from the University of Wyoming will be Head football coach Craig Bohl.

The Cowboy football team had a scrimmage in Casper Saturday and bohl said the players did some very good things.

Starting Quarterback Josh Allen returns to the Pokes this fall and Bohl says right now they are trying to find the replacements at wide receiver to help Allen and the Cowboy offense.
