Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer open with shutout victories / Spring Break begins for school district two

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams had a good opening to the 2016 season Thursday night as the Broncs and Lady Broncs posted shutout victories against Riverton.

The Broncs went on the road and beat the Wolverines 3-0 while the Lady Broncs blasted Riverton 10-0 at Sheridan high school Robbie Ryan scored six times in the blowout, Lady Broncs Head coach Mallery Marshall says they did exactly what they needed to do in the opener. Both teams are off until next weekend.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams head into their spring break the next competition will be at the "Jerry Campbell" invitational in Buffalo April 2nd. they have one meet under their belt already and had Thursday's meet canceled in Casper.

First year Head coach Taylor Kelting says they have a good group of younger athletes in the program and they want to bring them along at a good pace.

SPRING BREAK - All spring sports will be off next week for spring break, next weekend the soccer teams will be at a two day jamboree in Casper, track and field will compete in Buffalo next weekend on Saturday the spring tennis season begins practice next week as well.

The spring golf season will open with practice next weekend and the Sheridan Troopers and Jets baseball players open outdoor practice Monday April 4th.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies open the Major League baseball season also on April 4th opening with a three games series at Arizona, our first live broadcast will start at 7:00 all Rockies baseball games can be hear live this season on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
