Cowboy Hoops Hosts Eastern Washington in the CBI Tonight / Cowgirls Open the WNIT Tomorrow / SRD Board Meets Today

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys open play in the "CBI" at home tonight against Eastern Washington we will have the game live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM pregame starts at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls received an invitation to play in the Women's NIT they will open the first round at home tomorrow night against the Seattle University Redhawks we will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM Cowgirl pregame will start at 6:00 with the tip at 6:30.

SPRING SPORTS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open their seasons Friday with both teams playing at a tournament in Casper.

The Lady Broncs play at home for the first time March 31st against Laramie the Broncs home opener will be April 7th against Cheyenne Central.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams open the outdoor season Saturday at the "Glenn Legler" invitational in Casper.

The track teams will host a dual meet with Gillette April 11th they will host the "Gary Benson" invite April 18th and the annual "Dan Hansen" invitational April 22nd.

SRD - The Sheridan Recreation District board will meets today at 11:30 at the Rec. office in Thorne-Rider park among the agenda items include staff reports and updates on the summer junior golf program and an update on the Doubleday sports complex.

Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian is President of the board and has a preview of today's meeting highlights the first will be an update on the new Doubleday park sports complex in north Sheridan.

Sheridan's newest park which will include sports fields is on west 5th street and could open for use later this summer.

And finally today Julian says the Rec. District board and the district staff is committed to the citizens of the county to provide as many sports and activities for all ages and abilities.
