Cowgirls Beat SDSU / Generals and Lady Generals Fall to GIllette / Broncs and Lady Broncs at Gillette Friday Night

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams head to Gillette tomorrow night for their only games of the week.

The Broncs are 3-1 in league play and sit in second place behind Gillette in the conference standings the boys 4-A East is showing a lot of parody as we get through the first half of the season, the Broncs went on the road and beat Cheyenne South two weeks ago, last Saturday the Cheyenne East came to Sheridan and shocked the Broncs and last night it was South helping out the Broncs by knocking off the East.

Head coach Jeff Martini says that's typical 4-A East action and every time out you've got a chance to pick up a big victory.

Game times tomorrow night will have the girls tip off at 5:30 the boys go at 7:00 we will have both games live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

BH BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams will play at Moorcroft tomorrow and end the weekend Saturday at home with Sundance.

TR BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles will play all four conference games on the road they'll be in Upton tomorrow and at Wright Saturday.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams dropped both at home Wednesday night against Gillette the women went down 67-53 and the Generals fell 87-81. Saturday they travel to play at Casper their next home games will be next Saturday against Miles City, Montana.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls beat San Diego state in the Double "AA" last night 80-67 to get back on the winning track and stay in first place in the MWC they play at home Saturday against the Air Force Academy that game can be heard live starting at 1:30 on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - Next up for the Cowboys is a road game at Air Force Saturday afternoon pregame starts at 1:00 on KWYO.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers have a home meet tomorrow with Riverton, Cody and Worland then over to Gillette Saturday for a big invitational the 4-A state swimming and diving championships open in Gillette February 24th.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will compete at the annual "Ron Thon" invitational in Riverton matches start tomorrow afternoon.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team will play their next two league games at home this weekend against Rock Springs tomorrow night at 7:00 and Saturday morning at 9:00.

NATIONAL SIGNING DAY - Yesterday was national college signing day three Sheridan county football athletes signed on the dotted line from Sheridan high school Drew Boedecker will play football for the Dickinson state Blue Hawks and Big Horn Rams Nolan McCafferty and Colton Williams will play football for "The Rock" Rocky Mountain college in Billings.
