Don Julian Steps Down as Head Football Coach at Sheridan High School / Pokes Basketball at South Carolina Tonight

BRONC FOOTBALL - Sheridan high school football coach Don Julian met with his players in a closed door meeting Tuesday to let them know he is stepping down as their Head coach.

The numbers the program has put up over the last 11 seasons is amazing but Julian says the numbers came after the hard work and commitment of the coaches and players.

And finally the pride of winning as the smallest school in the the 4-A classification and the satisfaction of putting in the time and for the players to make it happen.

Julian started with the Broncs in 2007 and the record speaks for itself in 11 seasons, five state championships including the current streak of three in a row to go along with one runner up finish and ten semi final appearances.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams begin the season tomorrow at a three day tournament in Casper we will broadcast all eight games live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM, you can also here the games through our web stream on

Games tomorrow are against Rock Springs the Lady Broncs play at 3:00 and the Broncs go at 4:30.

Friday's games against Evanston will be played at Casper college the girls play at noon the boys at 7:30.

Saturday they play at Natrona county against Jackson at 10:30 and noon then Natrona county at 4:30 and 6:00.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams begin the new season Friday at tournaments the girls will be in Glenrock and boys in Wright, the Rams play Glenrock, Lusk and Wheatland the Lady Rams play Lusk, Thermopolis and Wheatland.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles open the season at home Friday against Rocky Mountain they'll play road games Saturday at Lovell.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers open their season Friday and Saturday at the Gillette Pentathlon and Gillette relays.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers open at in Worland tomorrow the first home matches will be Thursday December 21st when they host duals with the Casper schools.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and the Lady Generals play at a tournament in Williston, North Dakota this weekend.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play their next game at South Carolina this evening you can hear the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM Cowboy pregame starts at 4:30 with the tip at 5:00.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys will play at the "Famous Idaho Potato" bowl in Boise Friday December 22nd against Central Michigan the game will kickoff at 2:00.
