BRONC BASKETBALL - Mike Ibach's resignation as head boys basketball coach at Sheridan school became official yesterday and the search for a new coach is underway as we sat down with Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian.

First Julian talks about knowing and coaching along side Ibach at Sheridan high school.

And he knows Ibach made the decision to step down because of family.

As they move forward with the process of finding a replacement Julian expects lots of interest in the opening.

And finally Julian says the next few weeks will be busy to get a new head coach in place.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs and Lady Bronc soccer teams are 4-0 heading into their conference openers this week.

The Lady Broncs open conference play on the road at Cheyenne South Friday and Laramie Saturday. the Broncs host Cheyenne South Friday and Laramie Saturday afternoon. matches Friday are at 4:00 and 6:00 and Saturday at 10:00 and noon.

TRACK AND FIELD - The 2012 track and field season continues this week with the Broncs and Lady Broncs at the Cody Invitational Saturday.

The Big Horn and Tongue River track teams are scheduled to compete at the "Jerry Campbell" Invitational in Buffalo Friday.

SHERIDAN AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - Sheridan Jets and Troopers baseball coaches will hold their player / parent meeting tomorrow night at 6:00 at Sheridan high school in the cafeteria.

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys basketball season ended last night with a 61-41 loss at Washington state in the second round of the College Basketball Invitational.

The Pokes end their first season with Head coach Larry Shyatt with a record of 21-12 overall.

GOLF - Kendrick golf course professional Brian James has announced that Kendrick will open for the 2012 golf season tomorrow morning.
