Full Local Sports Weekend Ahead

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams are hosting games with Laramie and Cheyenne South game times tonight with Laramie will be at 5:30 and 7:00 you can hear them live on KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio tomorrow's games with the Bison will be at 11:30 and 1:00.

The Broncs share the lead in the conference with Gillette heading into the weekend and they have a chance to wrap up an automatic state tournament bid with a couple of victories, Head coach Jeff Martini says since conference play started the Broncs have done a good job of staying the course to put themselves into this position.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will close out the regular season a week from today at home against Gillette the school will be honoring two Lady Bronc state championship basketball teams from 1977 and 2007 Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian.

And Julian says coming up in 2018 a new 16 team 4-A that will include basketball and a couple other sports looks like will go through the Wyoming high school activities association board past the resolution and it is now being voted on around the state, Julian came up with this proposal last year and he says it's in response to dwindling state revenue and missed school time.

BH BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams play at Upton tonight and host Moorcroft tomorrow to end the regular season.

TR BASKETBALL - The Tongue River teams will spend the final weekend of the regular season at home they host Sundance and Upton.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams are coming off victories at little Big Horn CC they will play road games at Central Wyoming in Riverton tomorrow.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Boise state tomorrow you can hear the game live following Sheridan high school basketball on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is 3:30.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls will play their next game at home tomorrow against Boise state.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers open their regional tournament today at Cheyenne South high school.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school indoor track teams begin competition today at the "Simplot" games in Pocatello, Idaho.
