LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc basketball team's dream of a state title came up short in Casper last Friday night but they were able to regroup after a devastating loss in the semi finals and win the 3rd place game in Casper Saturday.

The tournament started strong for the Lady Broncs as they blew out Green River the in opener all that momentum came crashing down in the semi finals against Cheyenne East, they held a 10-2 lead midway through the first quarter but East would take control from that point on and run away with the win.

They came back with a great effort Saturday against Natrona county win the 3rd place game 48-43 Head coach Sean Yeager was happy they were able to end the season with a victory.

And after that game it's tough to say goodbye to their three seniors.

Even though the season didn't end the way they wanted he says the 24-3 Lady Broncs had a tremendous season.

And with several key players returning to the program next fall the outlook is bright for the coming season.

Gillette beat East in the girls championship, Evanston took the boys title winning against Riverton.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams open the regular season opens Friday against Riverton the Broncs will play at home the Lady Broncs play on the road. JV's will play at 4:00 the varsity will go at 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams open their season on Saturday, at the Casper "Earlybird" invitational.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will begin their season Monday, March 25th with their first day of practice. The first spring tournament is scheduled for Worland April 5th.

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls will be in Las Vegas this week for the Mountain West conference tournament.

The Pokes open tomorrow night against Nevada. we will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM. Pregame starts at 5:30 with the tip at 6:00. the winner advances to play top seed New Mexico Wednesday night.

The Cowgirls open the tournament Thursday against Colorado state pregame is at 7:30 tip at 8:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
