LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals beat Little Big Horn CC and Western Wyoming during the Sheridan Lions club tournament at the Hoffman dome they ran away from Little Big Horn 87-50 then closed out the tournament beating Western Wyoming Saturday to run their season record to 6-3 overall..
Lady Generals head coach Frank McCarthy says they have just a few games to play before the holiday break and they want to make the most of the chance to get better.
They've won six out of the last seven games and the young Lady Generals are still learning to play with one another they travel to games in Williston, North Dakota and Glendive, Montana this weekend

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Generals had no problem picking up their 5th and 6th wins of the season as they beat Ogalala Lakota CC 116-56 they also won Saturday against Rocky Mountain college 121-72 all the players scored in the game including six in double figures. Head coach Steve Smiley says they are playing pretty good basketballright now.
The Generals have three more home games this week including a tournament Friday and Saturday.

They play the Colorado Christian JV's tomorrow night at 5 o'clock then host the “Holiday Inn” tournament Friday and Saturday three really good teams will join the Generals this weekend.

Here's the game schedule Friday, Gillette will play Western Nebraska at 5:00 the Generals play Lake Region from North Dakota at on Saturday will have Gillette and Lake Region at 3:00 and the Generals and Western Nebraska at 5:00.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys lost Friday and Saturday at the World Vision tournament in Laramie they dropped games against Monmouth university and Hampton then came back to salvage the weekend beating Pepperdine yesterday 86-82 in overtime.
The Cowboys get back into action Saturday at home against Loyola Marymount.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys are looking at a trip to the New Mexico bowl after winning at Colorado State Friday afternoon.
Ian Watts kicked a 33 yard field goal with 1:27 to play to give the Pokes the 17-16 victory.
Official word on a Bowl game won't come until next week but it's expected to be the New Mexico Bowl.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The high school basketball season starts this week the Sheridan high school teams play at home Friday night against Green River we will broadcast both games on am 14-10 KWYO the Lady Broncs play at 5:45 the Bronc game will follow the girls.

BH / TR BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams open their season this weekend at a tournament hosted by Lusk high school and the Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles open at a tournament in Thermopolis.

WRESTLING / SWIMMING - The Bronc wrestlers open their season at a tournament in Powell and the Sheridan Bronc swimmers start their preseason practice today.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team will celebrate their state championship tonight with the Bronc football banquet at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.
