Rams state title game preview begins / Cowgirls win, Pokes play tonight

BIG HORN FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams play Mountain View for the 2-A football championship Friday, the title game will kick off at noon.

We will have it for you live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM starting with the First Federal Savings bank pregame show at 11:30.

The Rams are 9-1 heading into the game, Head coach Micheal McGuire says coming into the season the coaches knew this team had a good shot at making it to Laramie.

And he says it's been a great challenge and the players need to be credited with their hard work to get to the title game and the team's demeanor has kept them in a good place through the playoffs.

And he says the 9-1 record doesn't mean a thing now as it's come down to a one game season.

As far as playing Mountain View McGuire says they have a great team and Friday will be a big day for both programs.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys play their next game on the road at Boise state Saturday night the broadcast will begin at 7:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos host their next game against Kansas City Sunday night. We will have it live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time is 4:35 with kickoff at 6:30

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams host a tournament Friday and Saturday games will be played at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 both Friday and Saturday the Lady Generals play at 5:00 the Generals at 7:00.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys have two games this week tonight they play at Colorado broadcast time is at 6:30 on KWYO and 87.7 FM. The Pokes play at home Saturday afternoon against Arkansas state.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls won at Denver University last night 73-70, Fallon Lewis had a career high 17 points to lead the way Kayla Woodward had 13. They return to Laramie to play Montana state Friday night.

WINTER HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS - The Winter sports season opens Monday with the first day of practice for high school basketball and wrestling the broncs swimmers open their season with their first practice December 2nd.
