SC Hoops sweep Western Wyoming / Cowgirls and Pokes split with Fresno state

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals swept games with Western Wyoming Wednesday night. The Lady Generals came from 10 down in the second half to post a 72-64 victory,

The Generals had lost two in a row and looked early to be headed for their third straight loss, the starters forced Head coach Steve smiley's hand and he benched them 2 minutes into the second half and the five replacements won the day for the Generals Head coach Steve Smiley.

After the move the Generals went on a 27-2 run over the span of 7 minutes and took control of the game, Smiley says Kyi Thomas and PJ Posey saved the game but might have saved even more for the Generals.

Both teams host games with Gillette Saturday night Smiley says Gillette has one of the best teams in the country. Game times Saturday are at 5:30 and 7:30.

SHS HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play conference games with Cheyenne East and Central the Lady Broncs will play at home.

We will broadcast all four games for you tomorrow night the Lady Broncs at 7:15 the Broncs at 7:00 Saturday afternoon both games tip at 1:00. The Broncs can be heard on 14-10 KWYO and Lady Broncs on 87.7 .

The Lady Broncs are 13-1 the Broncs are 12-2 both are 2-0 in conference play Broncs Head coach Gale Smith says they will have to be ready for two very tough games away from home.

TR HOOPS - The Tongue River basketball teams host games with Wright tomorrow night and Greybull Saturday.

BH HOOPS - The Big Horn basketball teams will host games with Riverside tomorrow and travel Saturday to play at Rocky Mountain high school in Byron.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers hosting dual with Cheyenne East and Central tomorrow and Laramie and Cheyenne south Saturday.

The Cheyenne duals tomorrow evening will be at 5:00 and 7:00 pm and Saturday at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm with Cheyenne South and Laramie.

UW HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball teams played Fresno state Wednesday night the Cowgirls won at home 87-76 while the Pokes lost at Fresno 67-62. Both teams play Utah state Saturday

INDOOR TRACK - The Sheridan high school indoor track teams will compete at a meet in Chadron, Nebraska Saturday.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers hosts duals tomorrow evening with the Casper schools.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks Hockey team plays at home Saturday evening against Cheyenne at 5:00 and Sunday morning they play again at 9:45.
