SC Hoops sweeps Miles City / Pokes and Cowgirls fall against San Jose st. / Bronc basketball home opener tomorrow night

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals played Miles City last night both picked up needed victories.

The Lady Generals blew out Miles City pulling away in the second half Head coach Frank McCarthy.

And he says the hard work continues as they move forward.

The Generals and Pioneers played a hard fought game that came down to the final second, a last second shot by Miles City was missed and the Generals took the game 77-76, they had lost two straight and it was a game they had to have, Head coach Matt Hammer.

And they came up big in the closing minutes to close out the win.

They play at Little Big Horn CC Saturday and Hammer says they'll have to be on their toes.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams have Billings West on the schedule Friday night the Broncs host while the Lady Broncs travel varsity games tip at 7:30 and we will have the broncs on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

BIG HORN BASKETBALL - The Rams and Lady Rams play three more games against Riverside, Rocky Mountain and Greybull.

TONGUE RIVER BASKETBALL - The Eagles and Lady Eagles have games with Greybull and Riverside this weekend.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost 62-55 at San Jose state last night, Saturday they play at New Mexico broadcast time will be at 1:30 on KWYO.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL -The Cowgirls lost at home to San Jose state 67-66, Saturday they are at home with New Mexico at 1:30 live on 87.7 FM.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers travel tomorrow to dual Laramie then to the Cheyenne South invitational Saturday,

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers compete in the Cowboy invitational in Miles City, Montana this weekend.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team is off until next weekend when they host games with Rock Springs.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos host the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday in the AFC divisional playoffs pregame starts at 12:35 kickoff is set for 2:40 we will have the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.
