SC Rodeo Winter Break / Cowboys and Cowgirls Take Victories Over Utah State / Bronc / Lady Bronc Hoops Back in Action Tomorrow

SC RODEO - The Sheridan college rodeo team will host their annual banquet in a few weeks tickets for the event are currently on sale.

It's been a very good season so far for the Generals and Lady Generals in December former Generals Bronc rider Zeke Thurston won the NFR title just two years after leaving Sheridan college, Rodeo coach Marc Gilkerson says Thurston's world championship was a real big deal for the Sheridan college rodeo program.

Right now the program is on their winter break but Gilkerson says all their rodeo athletes are staying busy.

Next month they host their annual banquet and it is their biggest fundraising event of the year.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Lady Broncs host Billings Skyview tomorrow night at 7:30 we will have the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

The Broncs will play at Skyview tomorrow and will host Natrona county Saturday afternoon at 2:00 we will have that game live for you on 87.7 FM.

EAGLES / RAMS HOOPS - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams get back on the court tomorrow the Rams and Lady Rams host games with Rocky Mountain tomorrow and play at Greybull Saturday.

The Eagles and Lady Eagles will host games this week with Greybull tomorrow and Riverside Saturday.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals host games Saturday with Casper college game times are 3:00 and 5:00.

UW HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Utah state 95-87 Wednesday night Head coach Allen Edwards. The Pokes play at home Saturday against Nevada the game will tip at 4:00 on 14-10 KWYO.

The Cowgirls drilled Utah state on the road 71-48 they will play at Nevada Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers will be in Laramie tomorrow and at the Cheyenne south invite Saturday.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers have more tournament action this weekend when they compete in the annual "Cowboy" invitational in Miles City, Montana.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school indoor track teams begin their season at a meet in Spearfish, South Dakota Saturday.
