Head coach Don Julian and the Broncs pull off the upset over Natrona county

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs upset previous unbeaten and number one ranked Natrona county last night.

Alex Welch returned a kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown and the Broncs converted and two-point conversion to take an 18-17 lead with 3:13 to play.

The Broncs' Raith Durham sealed the victory with an interception with under a minute to play.

The Broncs will be the 4-A two seed going into next week's playoffs and will host Casper Kelly Walsh in the quarterfinals.

That game will be played Friday at 7:00 at Homer Scott stadium.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams beat Newcastle yesterday 35-13 in the first game on the new turf field at Big Horn high school.

The Rams are 8-0 and will host Big Piney next Friday afternoon in their quarter final playoff game.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles ended their football season dropping a 42-17 game at Thermopolis.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves also closed out their season with a road loss at Sundance the Bulldogs beat the Wolves 51-0.

BISON FOOTBALL - The Buffalo Bison crushed Rawlins 68-0 Friday night and will head into the 3-A playoff next week.

The Bison will host quarterfinal game with Lander next Friday.
