SHS Hoops open tonight / Pokes fall, Cowgirls roll / SHS Swimming and Wrestling open tomorrow

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Broncs and Lady Broncs will open the basketball season at a tournament in Riverton tonight we will broadcast all six games live.

They play Riverton tonight and Kelly Walsh tomorrow, games are at 5:30 and 7:00, Saturday they play Evanston at 3:00 and 4:30 and all games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will open their season with two days of competition in Gillette beginning tomorrow.

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers open their season tomorrow at a tournament in Rapid City.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team plays at Laramie Saturday and Sunday.

SC HOOPS - Both the Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals will end the first half of the seasons tomorrow the Lady Generals will play at Dawson CC in Glendive, Montana and the Generals will play at Laramie county.

The Lady Generals are ranked 18th in the country this week moving up one spot from last week's top 25 poll they are 11-2 overall and Head coach Frank McCarthy says they have been a pretty good roll for the last few weeks.

Following the game at Dawson it's onto the Christmas break and McCarthy says it will be good to have a few days off to rest up.

The Generals are 10-3 overall and chemistry issues have held them back a bit during the first half of the season and it cost them a victory in overtime last Saturday, Head coach Matt Hammer.

They beat Laramie county a few weeks ago at home and Hammer says tomorrow night they expect a great battle in Cheyenne.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls whipped South Dakota Tech Wednesday night 77-41 the Cowgirls play Gonzaga tomorrow night tip off at 7:00 on 87.7 FM.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Cowboys lost at California Wednesday night 45-42 the Pokes play Montana state Sunday afternoon tip off is at noon on 87.7 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos play at San Diego Sunday afternoon pregame starts at 12:05 with kick off at 2:05 on KWYO.
