TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams split results with Jackson yesterday as they opened their season.

The Broncs dropped the team match 3-2 while the Lady Broncs won 3-2.

Lady Bronc winners were Julia Fenn and Katelynn Brooks in number one and two singles the winning match for the Lady Broncs came in number three doubles when the team of Belen Espada Wioque and Taylor Greeting took their match in three sets.

The Lady Broncs will be back in action today and tomorrow as they travel to a tournament in Rapid City.

Bronc winners were Reed Ritterbusch in number one singles, Ritterbucsh in the defending state champion he won in straight sets.

The other Bronc winners came in number one doubles with Logan Garstad and Turner Martini winning in three sets they came back after dropping the first set to win the next two.

The Broncs will host matches with Gillette tomorrow.

FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team opens the season tonight in Laramie. We will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO the First Federal pregame show will start at 5:30 kickoff is at 6:00.

We get a Bronc preview today with Head coach Don Julian as he first talks about the Bronc Offense.

The Bronc Defense looks to be a pretty good unit this year most of the starters will be playing on the offense as well.

One of the constants for the Bronc program since Julian took over has been special teams and he says they are looking for big things from special teams this year.

The Tongue River Eagles play their zero week scrimmage this evening in Thermopolis with the Bobcats and Pine Bluffs. The Big Horn Rams play their zero week scrimmage at Lovell tomorrow.

Next Friday is the regular season opener for the Eagles and the Rams and we will have a live high school football triple header for you.

We will start in Big Horn with the Rams playing Greybull at 1:00 then we go to Dayton for the Eagles and Rocky Mountain at 4:00 and finish at Homer Scott stadium with the Sheridan Broncs home opener against Casper Kelly Walsh at 6:00.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers open today at the Gillette relays then they compete in the Gillette pentathlon tomorrow.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will open the season today at the Casper invitational.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team heads to Cheyenne today to start their season at a big invitational tournament.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles open their volleyball season at a tournament in Douglas and the Big Horn Lady Rams will be at a tournament in Lingle.

COWBOYS - The Wyoming Cowboys open the college football season tomorrow night at Nebraska we will have all the action live for you on 14-10 KWYO the Cowboy pregame show will start at 5:00 kickoff is set for 6:00.

BRONCOS - The Denver Broncos lost 32-24 last night against the Phoenix Cardinals.The Broncos open the regular season at home next Thursday against Baltimore.
