So Long 2018 / Looking Ahead to 2019

BRONC FOOTBALL - One of the highlights from this past year took place last summer when Sheridan high school Senior Parker Christensen attended a Wyoming Cowboy football camp then verbally committed to play for the Cowboys.

Just before Christmas it became official with Parker signing his national letter of intent to play for the Pokes that day the University held a news conference introducing the 2019 class and this is what they had to say about the Wyoming Gatorade player of the year.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams get back on the court at a tournament in Cheyenne Thursday. The Lady Broncs open with Pine Bluffs while the Broncs open with Lander then they both play Riverton and Casper Kelly Walsh.

TR / BH BASKETBALL - The Tongue River basketball teams open 2019 hosting games with Big Horn on the 12th.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals open 2019 on the road at northeastern Colorado next Saturday. The Generals will play road games at Eastern Wyoming and Northeastern Colorado on the 9th and 10th.

COWBOY / COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys host their final non conference game with Dixie state tomorrow evening the game will tip at 4:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM. The Cowboys and Cowgirls open MWC play against Boise state Wednesday.

The Cowgirls have had an extended break as they get ready to open league play and Head coach Joe Legerski says the break was needed and they start MWC play with two very tough opponents.

INDOOR TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams they start practice on Wednesday with their first meet on the 12th in Casper.

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc and Tongue River Eagles wrestlers start the new year at the Shane Shatto invitational in Douglas next Friday.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers start the new year at home with events next weekend.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team opens 2019 on the road at Riverton next weekend.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver broncos end their season Sunday hosting the LA Chargers you can hear the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM kickoff is set for 2:25.
